Well its day 13 weigh in day once again. Results, as usual no changes to report except 1/2" increase to my chest from day 10. It is my T.O.M so i am hoping thats why i am not seeing any positive results right now i feel fat and bloated for the past few days. I am seriously hoping for some drastic weight loss or inch loss over the next week that will be almost three weeks into the program.
Has anyone got experience or know of anyone who has gone through the program with very minimal weight or inch loss?
I am really enjoying the diet part but finding the exercises a bit boring now i hate having to work out 4times a day. What is the benefit of doing this rather than one or two longer sessions? However i am just doing it in the hope that one of these days it will pay off. I am in this program until the end if i don't get the results i initially wanted well at least i will have tried my best i know i have done everything 100%.
I am trying to stay positive so decided to list the advantages of the program so far for me (hopefully they will outweigh the disadvantages i list later):
- Increase in strength
- Improved flexibility
- Improved energy initially (before carb cycling)
- Loss of 1.5" from waist and 0.5" from hips and 0.5" from chest. And almost 1lb weight!!
-Eating habits improved - listening to body when full, or hungry!
- No cravings for sugar.
OK now onto the disadvantages:
- Slower weight loss than expected
- Clothes feel looser in waist but still tight in legs (no loss from legs) so feeling out of proportion.
- Fed up exercising 4times a day and not seeing faster results. (but still doing it)
- Tired - need to take naps during the day if i can (too young for that)
- Difficult to eat out and socialise, when following the program so strictly.
Ok so the advantages win i just had to find a way to have a little moan this morning lol I'm positive the results will come. This is hard work so i really hope i am right!!
Done PC already, off to do the pyramid now o i hate it ahhhhhhhhhhh where is my motivation gone??anyone??

Day 10-11 - tired
Yesterday Day 10 i felt really tired and actually slept for most of the day. Between work outs of course!! I wasn't craving sugar but really felt like my blood sugars were very low and thats what had me so tired and weak. I only managed to fit in three exercise sessions i just had no energy so had an early night...
Felt excited this morning Day 11 to see the new DB matrix. Decided to do the power circuit first so i could go buy some new heavier weights to do the matrix. Did running in gym interval training for cardio, then used new weights when i got home for the matrix. I enjoyed it but found it a little easy so tomorrow i will up the weights on legs as well and also do a couple more of the circuits. The pyramid made up for it tonight though boy o boy that kills me used some hevier weight tonight but cant get anyfurther than level three on the down side. I'll get there one of these days though!!
I am finding it really hard the past few days to motivate myself to exercise the 4times i have to really focus and push myself. Got my monthly today so maybe thats also why i have been feeling more tired. Diet is not a problem at the moment i find i don't have as big an appetite anymore and i get fuller quicker on smaller portions of food which is good. And i am experimenting more in the kitchen making some really tasty food which is great. I knew that was the change i had to make this time if i am going to stick with clean eating i had to learn to make the food appealing and taste good. Now it does!!

Day 7
I had a much better day today... completed all my exercises and feeling legs a bit achy again tonight from the lunges and squats.... I tried to get to the gym for some cardio earlier but could only get the car to the end of the drive and had to turn back the snow was so bad i was sliding all over the road... so i parked up and went for a nice 20min walk in the snow instead, best i could do in the circumstances!!!
feeling a bit tired today and needed to really push myself to do exercises but always feel great and more energised when i have finished them!!!
I will weigh in tomorrow morning and post my results fingers crossed there are some positive results this time...

Day 6 - unexpected problems
I was looking forward to starting day 6 with the new pyramid and i had planned all my meals for the wave which i was going to prepare before work. The day got off to a good start i did the pyramid before breakfast, its a tough one i managed to get up over the pyramid and down to level four on the other side, it will be a nice new challenge to get this one complete!!
As i was having breakfast i had a phone call from work requesting me to leave immediately as there was an emergency i needed to attend (i work in the medical profession, so when i am needed i have got to go). This threw all my plans of preparing food for the wave, i knew i would be on the road for most of the day and did not want to give in to temptation due to hunger. So i had a larger breakfast than normal of scrambled egg and salad with some pork sausage. I also chopped up some raw carrots and brought 100% peanut butter with me for a snack and some organic peanuts and cashew nuts, and chili sesame & pumpkin seeds. I also packed some fruit just in case i would rather stick with the fruit if i needed instead of stopping at a shop for some non compliant ED food. I had no time to prepare meals with meat of veg.
I did not return home until 2200 and did not give in to eating the fruit either which i was pleased with. I am a bit disappointed to have read somewhere that carrots are not allowed on the wave though, is this true anyone? I really over did it on the nuts though!
I did my meltdown when i got home and planned to take a short break before doing ICP however after meltdown i felt sick and actually vomited twice. So had to leave the ICP and cardio.

Day 4 - measurements
I woke this morning really excited to weigh myself i felt for sure that i had lost some weight. Unfortunately i am one of the few that hasn't shed any weight just yet i actually gained .5lb which is a bit depressing. I found it difficult to motivate myself today especially to do the meltdown but i manged to do it. Thankfully the soreness is easing today.I went to the gym and did 20mins on the cross trainer and my ICP. Next power circuit before bed!!!
I am feeling very tired tonight and i have cravings for carbs (wheat) and sweets (fruit is not quiet helping). Although i know i should not focus on the scales this week i cant help but feel a little down after reading about everyone else's fab success.
I am going to wait until fri now before i weigh again i think its best i don't weigh every three days because it affects my mood!!

Day 2 of meltdown... OUCH!!!!
I went to bed at the end of day 1 feeling really pleased with myself for getting over the the first day of the new year exactly as i planned on the meltdown program and i even had the flu!!! I actually felt that the exercises while tough when doing them i seemed to recover very quickly afterwards so i thought maybe this is too easy for me?? boy was i mistaken i woke at 0500 with aching muscles everywhere lol
But i loved that feeling its like wow this stuff is really working on the area i want to melt that fat away from. It was tough doing the exercises on day 2 more motivating myself to them really, just lazziness i have to admit but i did them.
Diet have been easy enough although i did get a bad sugar craving after my dinner. I managed to distract myself by doing the power circuit and it worked afterwards the craving was gone.
I made a big jug of water with cucumber slice which is delicious and so much easier to drink all day then plain water.
Beginning to feel more toned already which is great not sure if i have lost any weight yet though i'm going to wait until day 3 to weigh myself i dont want to become obsessed with weighing at the moment.
